Tent Trading is a high probability, low maintenance money making strategy trading options and options only. Some might say it is an "advanced strategy". In reality, there is really nothing "advanced" about it. In fact, buying straight Calls or Puts, or long/short stocks/futures, is more "advanced" to me. Because we no longer need to pick a direction, we don't have to worry about what to trade, when to get in, when to get out, when to take profit, when to trail stops. You no longer have to worry about which way the market is going to gap tomorrow morning, and you will be able to sleep well at night knowing the odds are in your favor no matter what happens next. A "Tent" can be set in under 30 seconds, then all there is left for us to do is observe and manage risk. This method can never make you rich over night, but it can definitely build your wealth over time, with hardly any work involved. With this method, you will be able to beat the majority of the hedge fund managers out there, making consistent returns, on your own!

 

If you have traded options before, it will help. But if you have never traded options before, don't feel intimidated! It is no difference than any other trading vehicles. Everything will be laid out for you during the training, from the beginning to the end. We will discuss every scenario, look at every possibility. You don't need to know how to build an engine to drive a car, but it helps when an adjustment is needed from time to time. It is also good to know what kind of "insurance policy" you might have if things don't go as planned occasionally.

 

I am sure you will appreciate the simplicity of this method, and the potential income it can bring you every month once you set up a tent and see how it works before your own eyes. When I say "once you learn to trade the non-directional way, you will never want to pick a direction ever again", I really mean it. The profit is only the by-product, to me, the real value is the freedom it provides, free of stress, free of gluing yourself to the computer all day long. You can do whatever you want with your free time. Unfortunately, I choose to use it to stare at the screens and day trade! :) It's my passion and I will never want to give it up!

 

Like with our indicators, we have a non-refund policy. Please make sure you are committed to the course before signing up. The training will be intense and fast-paced. We will meet via Go To Webinar on 3 Saturday afternoons, each session will be 3 hours or longer. Everything we talk about in the webinars will be included in the manuals, which are sent to you after each week. Homework will be assigned after week one and two. You will paper trade after session one and record your progresses on your own tents. It is important for you to see what this method can do for you even when you don't have a complete picture about it yet. When you see profits rolling in on their own, you will have more confidence to trade live right away. 

 

• Cost: $2,000, including 3 Live sessions, 3 detailed Manuals, TradeStation indicators as a bonus (other platforms not available), and access to me if you have any questions. If you have purchased indicators from this website, you know how responsive and detailed I am in answering questions. You will be enrolled in a Google Group. Upon graduation, you will also be enrolled in the Alumni's page, where you can communicate with past graduates, read past emails, which are archived and numbered (currently over 2000 emails).

 

• Time: Saturday afternoons from 3 PM Eastern Time (New York Time) on July 30th, August 6th and 13th, 2011.  

 

• Place: Your home. We will meet via GoToWebinar. Please sign in at least a few minutes before the webinar starts. A link for Go To Webinar will be sent to you a few days before the first class. 

 

• Duration: 3-5 hours or longer for each session, depending on how many questions you may have. Be prepared to go over time. Week Two will be the longest.

 

*UPDATE: In February 2010, we decided to add a more advanced strategy to this course as a bonus which was originally meant for the Advanced Class.  It is the kind of trade when set up correctly, the risk is very low compare to the potential gain, very often it can be completely RISK FREE with one simple, set-and-forget adjustment. You don't want to miss it. In the graph below, if the market goes up 1 million points or drops all the way down to 0, you will still make money. If the price closes inside the triangle at expiration, you will make a whole lot more. The only thing that can NOT happen on this trade is lose .

 

    

 

 

We encourage you to download Thinkorswim platform prior to the training. You will have to go through a couple of steps for online paper work, then you will be able to download and use the platform to paper trade for free.  You will have all the data feed with 20 minutes delay until you fund the account. If you decide to take your account live in the future, we have arranged a special commission rate ($1.50 per contract with no "per ticket" charge) for you with Thinkorswim, for Tent Trading students only.

 

You will also be enrolled to a Google Group. You will post your homework, ask any questions you may have, by sending it to the Group's email address. This way, all communications will be shared by the entire group. After the payment is made, please send an email to support@paintbarfactory.com with an email address which you wish to be used to receive emails from the group. It may not be a bad idea to open a new Gmail account for this purpose to separate the group's emails from your private ones, especially because the communication could grow into hundreds of emails in just a couple of weeks. You can access this page from the PBF Tent Trading page on our website as well once you are enrolled. When you graduate from this training, you will then be enrolled to the Alumni's Group, where you will be able to communicate with former graduates and read past emails.  

 

To post your homework, you must have the ability to capture screen shots. If you don't have a software for that, click Here and download "Jing". It is the software I use to capture screen shots and videos, it is very easy to use, and it is absolutely FREE.

 

From my daily update on the "PBF Tent Trading" page, I have proved it to you that this method doesn't involve a lot of work, and it can be very profitable. During the very frist week, all of our beta testers who did their homework made considerable returns, no one had a losing portfolio, at the end of the second week, many of them have gained over 10% on their paper accounts. In a note from a beta tester to the group after the training, she mentioned that she will set up some Tents against the guidelines, purposely make mistakes, just so she could practice and gain experience on what to do if a trade goes against her in real market condition. While it may not be a bad idea, I find it very amusing! When we learn a new trading system, we want to understand it, do our best to follow the rules and make no mistakes. With Tent Trading, because of the high win rate, she actually planned to make mistakes on purpose just so she could learn.
